A power tool is a hand-held machine driven by an electric motor, battery or compressed air, used to cut, drill, grind or fasten faster and more consistently than a hand tool. MAF Pro manufactures and supplies 79 power tools including drills, angle grinders, bench grinders, die grinder kits and cut-off machines across India, from 450W drill machines to 2300W angle grinders, with GST invoicing and bulk pricing for trade buyers.
Wattage is the single decision that determines whether a tool survives daily use. Match it to workload, not to budget.
| Wattage | Duty | Typical application |
|---|---|---|
| 450W to 850W | Light, intermittent | Home renovation, carpentry, electrical fit-out, occasional drilling |
| 1050W to 1200W | Medium, daily | Workshop fabrication, general contracting, sheet metal |
| 1480W to 2300W | Heavy, sustained | Structural steel, concrete and masonry cutting, industrial finishing |
Running a light-duty motor on a heavy-duty workload is the most common cause of premature failure in this category. A 1050W grinder used for eight hours a day on structural steel will not last a season.
| Corded | Cordless | |
|---|---|---|
| Power delivery | Constant, no fade | Drops as the cell discharges |
| Run time | Unlimited | Minutes per charge, tool dependent |
| Best for | Fixed workshop, sustained grinding, cutting | Site work, height work, sites without reliable supply |
| Weight | Lighter, no battery mass | Heavier at the same output |
Most professional buyers end up with both. Corded for the bench, cordless for the site. MAF Pro supplies both ranges.
Angle grinders. 850W, 1050W (100mm), 1200W, 1480W (125mm) and 2300W (180mm). Model numbers MPAG1050, MPAG1200, MPAG15SA2 and MPAG180SE2. For cutting, grinding and polishing metal, concrete and stone. Disc size determines depth of cut. Wattage determines how long the motor holds that cut under load.
Drill machines. From 450W 10mm upward, corded and cordless. Rated for wood, metal, concrete and masonry. Chuck capacity is the limit that matters for site work, not the headline wattage.
Bench grinders. 6-inch (BG15061) and 8-inch (BG20085), for sharpening, deburring and shaping metal at a fixed station. A fixture most fabrication workshops and garages run daily alongside their angle grinders and drills.
Die grinder kits. 52-piece (MG152A), 100-piece 240W (MPMG-253), 252-piece (MG2525) and 350-piece (MG350S). Each supplies a high-speed rotary tool with a full accessory set for cutting, engraving, sanding and polishing. Used across precision metalwork, automotive finishing and detailed fabrication.
Cut-off machines. 16 inch (MPCS), for repeat cutting of bar, pipe and section where a hand-held grinder is neither accurate nor safe.
Soldering and wood burning. The 10-in-1 electric soldering iron kit and the 23-in-1 wood burning carving kit, for electronics assembly, PCB work and detailed wood craft.
Heat guns. Variable temperature, for paint stripping, heat-shrink tubing, pipe bending and surface drying.
Complete tool kits. The 115-piece kit (MPDMK-13K) combines power and hand tools in one case, for multi-trade contractors and facility maintenance teams.
MAF Pro controls specification, assembly and quality at source. Practically, that means three things for a trade buyer. Spare parts remain available for the life of the tool rather than the life of a distribution contract. Warranty claims are handled by the people who built the tool. And bulk pricing is set without a reseller margin sitting on top of it.
Full GST invoicing is available on all orders. Contact the sales team for volume pricing, credit terms and dispatch schedules.
